There are Four (4) pillars of Power. They are:
- Muscle (Police, government)
- Code of Conduct (Laws, Ten Commandments, Societal Laws, etc)
- Reward & benefit
- Communications (Influence, PR, Marketing, spin)
The most important is Communications, the ability to influence people through messaging. In America, Power is the Temple of Power, the foundation of perception and the solution (or answer) to bigotry, stereotyping, discrimination and racism.
As an ethnic minority, unless you understand Communications, you cannot overcome racism, discrimination and other societal factors that deny you your rights and your share of society.
OVERVIEW
This book is for a very specific group of people that I call Minority Minorities, those who have been excluded, maligned or marginalized by the mainstream Western and specifically the American news media. Its for politicians and political activists who have been attacked unfairly by the news media. The news media is a biased institution driven by partisan interests and friendships and cronyism.
The news media is a cesspool of hypocrisy. It consists of journalists who frequently violate the very principles they claim to champion, the right of fairness, objectivity and balance in reporting. The American news media is neither balanced, nor fair nor objective. They are biased and intentionally so.This book is for the local government official who worked hard all his or her life to represent his or her community by becoming elected to office only to find themselves attacked by the overly cynical news media that ONLY covers them when there is controversy and ignores them during everyday performances of their jobs. The media ignores the good stories and only publishes the bad stories about you. Thats a common complaint that this book will help you overcome and address proactively. … This book is for anyone who has been left out of media power because of who they are and what they believe. The strategies and ideas are here to help you strengthen your own media campaign and confront the bigotry and bias. You can use the basics of media to create your own alternative media and then build it reaching more people and expanding your network to eclipse the bias and bigotry of the mainstream news media. This book is for anyone who wants to uphold the Constitution of the United States and make the principles that it advocates a reality for everyone, not just the few. This book is for anyone who is ignored by the news media until the news media has tried to hammer you with a controversy, reporting bad news about you or your community, or your suburban or local government. Activist on international issues, or a politician in a media-ignored community, this book can help you generate positive messages to a targeted audience and help you take advantage of controversy thrown at you by the biased mainstream news media. It will help you grab the media bull (pun intended) by the horns, and pivot and bridge it onto its side. Contrary to what you might think, controversy is an opportunity for the under covered Minority Minorities to standup and be counted, and spin a story around from a negative into a positive. You can do it. It is done everyday by the pros. The only difference is that they know what I am about to share with you in this book. As you read through this book, you can reach out to me and I am happy to help.
I teach several principles about communicating in America: Perception is Reality; Before you win the argument, you must win the audience; It’s not what you say, but how you say it; Don’t just speak to the wind, speak to a target audience; Become the audience.

IF WE CAN LAUGH TOGETHER, WE CAN LIVE TOGETHER
BY RAY HANANIA
eBook Edition. $2.99. Ray Hanania takes you through his world of Palestinian-Jewish American humor lampooning the Middle East conflict’s oddities through columns he published in several of Israel’s most popular newspaper and news sites, Yedioth Aharonoth’s YnetNews.com and the Jerusalem Post. Comedy was an accident for this award winning journalist, but as a Palestinian Arab living in the post-Sept. 11, 2001 American world, comedy was his only real shelter. Hanania turned to comedy as a means of confronting the growing animosity after 9/11 beginning with his celebrated and high profile fight with Jewish comedian Jackie Mason that screamed across the front pages of newspapers around the world to comedy stages in Dublin, Dubai, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York. Behind the humor are serious topics and a consistent and powerful moderate voice that will restore your faith in hope and Middle East peace. Hanania, a Palestinian Christian, is married to Alison Resnick, a Bohemian Jew. That family life storms through the pages and will have you laughing and crying. …. Click to order.
